Troop 345 Seabase Contingent

Troop 345 was awarded a Sea Base Expedition for 2008

You will live as Robinson Crusoe on the Out Island Adventure
which combines camping on a remote 100 acre island,
snorkeling on pristine coral reefs, trolling for sportfish,
kayaking through red mangroves, and exploring the flora
and fauna of Big Munson Island.

Anticipate departing Round Rock June 28, 2008 ----.

 Eligibility:

• Age 14 by September 1, 2008.
• Anticipating a higher demand for slots than are available, a troop subcommittee will establish a point system to identify the crew of scouts and adult leaders (emphasis on those that have not yet attended, those that are active participants and contributors to the troop, level of physical/aerobic conditioning, …).

• $650 trek fee
• $350 Travel expenses (including side trips/tours en route to and from Florida)
• $100 Gear
• Additional costs for training, Certifications, etc (exclusive to crew members)
• Initial deposit due beginning August 28; balance to be paid incrementally
